About Us

Background of HIMA COOMUNITY SACCO Ltd

Hima Community Cooperative Savings and Credit Society Ltd (Hima Community SACCO) was registered as a Savings Credit Cooperative on July 2008 under the Cooperative Societies Act, 1991 and the Cooperative Societies Regulations, 1992. The SACCO was founded to extend savings and credit services to the local community in Hima Town Council, Katwe – Kabatoro Town Council and surrounding communities in Kasese, Bunyangabu District.
The SACCO has its head office at Hima Town Centre, Hima Town Council and outreach centre at Katwe – Kabatoro Town Council.

    1. Offer demand driven products that meet members’ expectation without compromising the SACCO’s financial health
    2. Continuously develop internal funding sources, particularly savings and equity
    3. Continuously enhance the SACCO’s revenue generation capacity by prudently investing its funds
    4. Increase stakeholders’ confidence by achieving higher levels of profitability.
